QADRI HEAVY FORGE
To compliment the operations of the parent company QBL, this facility was established in the
mid-1960s. The production plan is focused on the production of medium size free-forged blanks for
the manufacture of diesel engines crankshafts, rolls for hot rolling plants and compressor parts
weighing up to 5000 kgs.
With an annual capacity to produce 5000 tons of forged parts per year, the facility caters to
requirements of the other manufacturing companies within the Group.
The company now has in hand the plan to install a 3000 tons capacity Hydraulic Forging Press for
the production of large diameter shafts and forged components; using vacuum degassed steel
ingots and ESR steel ingots produced at a facility envisaged to be setup by one of the other
Group-companies.
